Honors College


The Honors College at WSU offers an enriched, four-year core curriculum to high-achieving students who enjoy the challenges of an engaged academic community. Small interdisciplinary classes are designed to develop global awareness that satisfies Washington State University's general requirements for graduation; they are taught by experienced faculty dedicated to scholarship and learning. Students in Honors cultivate their genuine intellectual curiosity and life-long love of learning, and build skills in critical thinking, writing, public presentation, and scientific and information literacy.  More>>

Honors Students Showcase Their Undergraduate Research; 8 Take Home 7 SURCA 2014 Awards

SURCA WinnersDuring WSU's third annual Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA) on March 28, 34 Honors College students presented topics ranging from the charge states of Thorium to the sociopolitical implications of immigration to closures of wine bottles. Of those competing in the WSU-wide event, eight Honors students received seven awards.
