- About 30 percent of Honors students study abroad at least once during their undergraduate years.
- A special curriculum offers increased emphasis on international perspectives as well as oral and written communication, information literacy, quantitative and symbolic logic, and critical thinking.
- All students are encouraged to pursue proficiency in a spoken language other than English.
Its professors are distinguished within their own disciplines and have a passion for teaching as well as research in the university setting.
The Honors thesis provides all students the opportunity to pursue their own research and creative activity within an academic context and present their work publicly.
