- About 30 percent of Honors students study abroad at least once during their undergraduate years.
- A revised curriculum will offer increased emphasis on international perspectives. If approved by Faculty Senate, it could be in place as soon as fall 2008.
- All students are encouraged to pursue proficiency in a spoken language other than English.
Its professors are distinguished within their own disciplines and have a passion for teaching as well as research in the university setting.
Its thesis program allows students to pursue their own research and creative activity within an academic context, and present their work publicly.
