Faculty-led Experiences

For Honors students, by Honors faculty

Students have opportunities to participate in faculty-led study abroad programs.

From the Honors College, faculty Jessica Cassleman and Kim Andersen have organized and led recent summer studies in South America and Europe. Students spend time in classes at excellent universities, tour urban and rural communities and attractions, and experience the local cultures firsthand.

Study abroad sessions during the academic year help students gather information that will help them make important plans and decisions in a timely way. Course requirements typically include book reports, completing a travel journal, and a research paper. Some travels require foreign language competency.

Registration and details are handled through WSU's Education Abroad Office in International Programs.
