PULLMAN, Wash. – Each month Washington State University’s Center of Civic Engagement (CCE) recognizes a student who has shown exemplary commitment to service by recognizing them as “Service Star Winners.”

Four Honors Students Are Top Recipients in WSU Libraries’ Student Research Excellence Awards

PULLMAN, Wash. — Four Honors College students have landed top places in the WSU Libraries second annual Student Research Excellence Awards on the Pullman campus.

Tied for first place, and receiving $1,000, is Alison Kirpes, a senior in English. She submitted her Honors thesis as her application, entitled, “From Harlot to Human Being: The Revised Anna Karenina.” Her advisor for the project is Professor Birgitta Ingemanson, of the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures. » More …

PULLMAN, Wash. – The 2008 Week of Remembrance at Washington State University March 2-5 will examine the motivations and character of the people who risk life and limb to save others in peril, focusing on those involved in the Holocaust of World War II.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Using speeches and posters to demonstrate their work, Honors College students from freshmen through seniors participated in the first Washington State University Undergraduate Research Symposium in November.
