Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, Kim teaches Honors courses on art and art theory, the Viking Age, the origins and functions of language, and the Honors Thesis Proposal Seminar. His duties also include advising Honors students on course selection and study abroad, including overseeing the Honors College Certificate of Global Competencies. He is part of the Honors team administering the Honors thesis requirement. He is the managing editor of The Palouse Review, the Honors College online literary journal. Since 2000 he has arranged faculty-led trips almost every summer for Honors students to Scandinavia and Spain documented on his website public.wsu.edu/~kimander.
