Student entrepreneurship program info session

September 1, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Students interested in starting and running a technology-based business are invited to an informational meeting from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in the Frank Innovation Zone, located on the ground floor of Dana Hall. Refreshments will be served.

The Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurship Institute gives students the opportunity to bring their entrepreneurial dreams to life and get a $2,500 scholarship. The institute offers a unique opportunity to experience how innovation moves from idea to sustainable realization, and gives students the tools to pursue their ideas.

Working in interdisciplinary teams, Harold Frank students learn to manage uncertainty, design, perfect presentation skills, work with real fiscal and technical constraints, and develop technologies to solve problems. A highlight of the two-year program is a trip to California’s Silicon Valley, where Frank students interact with CEOs, angel/venture managers, and visit business incubators and successful WSU alumni.

Applications for the Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurial Institute will be accepted until Sept. 9.

To learn more about the institute, see the Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreurship Institute website.
