Graduating from the Honors College

A bachelor’s degree earned through the Honors College requires approximately the same number of total credit hours as required by the University Common Requirements (UCORE). Students who complete the Honors College requirements are not required to complete UCORE.

These Honors College requirements include approximately 31 credits, some of which may also satisfy requirements for majors, plus any courses necessary to complete the Honors College foreign language requirement. To graduate from the Honors College:

• Maintain a cumulative college GPA of 3.2 or higher;
• Satisfy the Honors College course requirements;
• Satisfy the Honors College foreign language requirement;
• Satisfy the Honors College thesis requirement.
