What is the Honors College?

An academic program with an engaging and experiential-based curriculum that works with all areas of study, and a supportive community that provides additional resources and personalized advising, all at no additional cost!

How do I apply as an international student?

Incoming Freshman
Must have at least a 3.6 GPA
Apply to WSU International Admissions: international.wsu.edu
Apply to the Honors College: Submit the Honors College application, including both essays, through honors.wsu.edu/apply-to-honors/

Transfer Students
Must have at least a 3.5 college GPA
Apply to WSU International Admissions: international.wsu.edu
Contact the Honors College to make an appointment with an advisor: honors@wsu.edu

Scholarships for International Students

Incoming Freshman
WSU International Academic Award
$4000 per year for up to four years (at least 3.6 GPA)

Transfer Students
WSU International Academic Award
$4000 per year for up to two years (3.6+ GPA)
$2000 per year for up to two years (3.3-3.59 GPA) *3.5 minimum to join Honors College

Plus there are opportunities through the Honors College to apply for additional scholarships.
