Visit the WSU Honors College

If you are interested in visiting WSU and would like to learn more about the Honors College, you have a few options:


Weekday Campus Visits

General campus tours are usually scheduled for 9:00-11:00am and 1:00–3:00pm Students can meet with other academic groups outside of their tour. Click here to register for a campus tour.

What will my visit with the Honors College include?
Each visit with the Honors College can be catered to the prospective student, and will likely cover the Honors College Curriculum, the Honors College community, the Admissions process, and the opportunities and benefits that help each student shape their Honors Experience.

Do I need to bring anything?
Bring any questions that you have, and if you’re planning to transfer from another college, please bring your transcript as well as any classes you plan to take before coming to WSU.

Where will my meeting be?
Meet in the Honors College main office, Elmina White Honors Hall 130. Honors Hall is at the corner of Spokane and Campus streets. You can use map.wsu.edu, which will merge with Google Maps to help you find your way. There is also a phone app by Guidebook that can help you navigate campus.

Can I meet with the Honors College during weekends?
The Honors College is closed on weekends, so outside of the Weekend Campus Visit Events, the Honors College does not normally meet with prospective students on weekends.

Weekend Campus Visit Events

The Honors College has a presence at each of these events. Generally speaking, you can find us at the Academic & Resources Fair in the morning and the afternoon workshops.

Fall 2017 Events

  • Fall Preview – Saturday, October 14
    For prospective students that would be incoming freshmen or transfer students
  • Fall Preview – Saturday, October 28
    For prospective students that would be incoming freshmen or transfer students
  • Experience WSU* – Saturday, December 2

*Event is for students who have been admitted to WSU already, and these students who attend will be eligible for a $1000 tuition waiver. Additional information available at the event webpages.
