Graduate Fellowships Workshop II
The WSU Graduate School will have a grant writing workshop in Butch’s Den (CUB L60) to help graduate and undergraduate students working on fellowship applications such as the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program, which are due in late October. Steve Crown, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Human Rights, Microsoft Corporation, will speak in the Honors College lounge about distinguished scholarships, what makes a competitive application, and opportunities through the Rhodes Scholarship and the Schwarzman Scholarship. Mr. Crown studied Russian Language and Literature at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar and serves as President of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars (AARTS). This event is open to all WSU students.

Student Networking Event and Industry Panel Discussion
On Friday, September 14, the WSU Honors College will host its first annual Student Networking Event and Industry Panel Discussion beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Pullman. The Student Networking Event is an opportunity for Honors College students to enhance their professional networking skills in various settings.
