The WSU Graduate School will have a grant writing workshop in Butch’s Den (CUB L60) to help graduate and undergraduate students working on fellowship applications such as the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program, which are due in late October. This session will focus on the NSF Graduate Fellowship (nsfgrfp.org). You will be provided individualized guidance to improve the statements that accompany your application. Distinguished Scholarships Presentation with Steve Crown

Steve Crown, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Human Rights, Microsoft Corporation, will speak in the Honors College lounge about distinguished scholarships, what makes a competitive application, and opportunities through the Rhodes Scholarship and the Schwarzman Scholarship. Mr. Crown studied Russian Language and Literature at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar and serves as President of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars (AARTS). This event is open to all WSU students.
