PULLMAN, Wash. —Washington State University alumni with corporate, medical, and legal expertise will be members of a career panel at 5:00 p.m. Mon., Oct. 5, in the Honors Hall Lounge on campus.

With support from The Boeing Company, the event is free and open to all students. Pizza will be served. Hosts are the WSU Honors College and the Honors Student Advisory Council (HSAC).

Members of the career panel are:

  • Lana Earhart (’02 Business Administration/Management Information Systems; ‘03 MBA), senior program manager in the Microsoft Corp. Strategic Enterprise Services IT Digital Media Program, Seattle
  • Lindsey Elhart (’14 Business Administration/Finance), member of the Boeing Business Career Foundation Program, Seattle
  • Joshua D. McKarcher (’99 Business Administration), attorney at Clements, Brown & McNichols, P.A., Lewiston, Idaho
  • Brandt C. Mohr (’97 Biology/Pre-health Sciences), chief technology officer at MOHR Test and Measurement LLC, Richland, Wash.; and physician specializing in nuclear medicine/radiology at Kennewick Radiology Group, Kennewick, Wash.

Impact of a WSU education

“As panelists, these professionals will relate how well their WSU education prepared them for their future careers,” said Jessica Cassleman, assistant dean of the Honors College. “They look forward to sharing knowledge and answering questions from students.”

The Honors career panel is set for the evening preceding the fall 2015 Career Expo and Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture Technical Fair. The Expo runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6 in Beasley Coliseum. Career Expo has been hosted for many years in fall and spring semesters by the Academic Success and Career Center.
