Honors Assistant Clinical Professor Annie Lampman named NCHC Poetry Master Class facilitator

E. Annie LampmanProfessor Annie Lampman will lead the Poetry Master Class at the 2018 National Collegiate Honors Council conference in Boston, MA, November 7-11. NCHC Master Classes offer small, arts-based, performance workshops in Drama, Film, Music, and Poetry. Select honors students from across the nation work with expert facilitators and fellow honors students at the NCHC conference each year, honing their craft, learning new techniques, networking, and finally presenting at a culminating Master Class Showcase event.

The 2018 NCHC conference theme is “Learning to Transgress,” with a plenary address from author bell hooks and a “Story Slam” event with author Andre Dubus III. 2018 Master Classes are open for submissions in Drama, Film, Music, and Poetry until classes are full. In all areas, submissions that emphasize the conference theme will be given priority for acceptance.
