Honors Student Named University Innovation Fellow by NSF-Funded Epicenter


Victor Charoonsophonsak, an Honors student in the College of Engineering and Architecture, was recently named an Epicenter University Innovation Fellow. This is a national program, funded by the National Science Foundation and directed by Stanford University and VentureWell, that empowers student leaders to increase campus engagement with innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and design thinking.

WSU Honors College announces new faculty fellow positions

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Honors College at Washington State University is accepting applications and nominations for its inaugural cohort of Honors Faculty Fellows, Dean M. Grant Norton announced.

“There are many faculty members at the university who make significant contributions to the mission of the Honors College and deeply impact our students,” Norton said. “We are very pleased to launch this new program to recognize them in a continuing and public fashion. WSU Honors College career panel Oct. 5 features Boeing, Microsoft, medical, and legal experts

PULLMAN, Wash. —Washington State University alumni with corporate, medical, and legal expertise will be members of a career panel at 5:00 p.m. Mon., Oct. 5, in the Honors Hall Lounge on campus.

With support from The Boeing Company, the event is free and open to all students. Pizza will be served. Hosts are the WSU Honors College and the Honors Student Advisory Council (HSAC). » More …
