Congratulations to Rebecka Bence, who has been selected this summer for the Summer Student Fellowship (SSF) program at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. The SSF program provides the opportunity for undergraduates to complete a research project under the mentorship of scientific or senior technical staff in various departments of marine science and policy. As a participant in the SSF program, Rebecka will spend 10 weeks in Woods Hole Village, Massachusetts, near Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard working on aquaculture research.

Honors Students to Present at 2016 Western Regional Honors Conference, University of California

April 2-4, 2016, Honors College students Alicia Hiemstra and Keesha Matz will give presentations at the Western Regional Honors Conference held at the University of California, Riverside, together with Honors College Professor Kim Andersen. The annual conference brings together Honors students and faculty from the Western U.S. for two intense days of presentations and conversations.
