Honors Alum and Pianist Eric McElroy Performs in Bryan Hall
WSU School of Music and Honors College alumnus Eric McElroy is currently a candidate for Birmingham Conservatoire’s Advanced Postgraduate Diploma. McElroy earned his Master’s degree at Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien with full honors.
On August 31 McElroy performed solo piano works by contemporary composers including his composition The Perilous Realm in Bryan Hall Theatre at the WSU Pullman campus, which won the prestigious MTNA National Young Artist Composition Competition. » More …

Honors Alumni in Inaugural Class of Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine
Honors alumni, Christina Street, Ethan Payton, and Kyle Geiger are among the 60 students in the inaugural class of the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University. Honors student Michael Young awarded Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study abroad
August 9, 2017 – The U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce that Michael Young, from the Washington State University Honors College is one of nearly 1,000 American undergraduate students from 386 colleges and universities across the United States selected to receive the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study or intern abroad during the 2017-2018 academic year. Alyssa Norris was appointed to the Board of Regents July 1, 2017, by Washington Governor Jay Inslee. A WSU senior, Norris is majoring in civil engineering and minoring in mathematics, ethics, and East Asia Studies. She is a member of the WSU Honors College.
Norris was a finalist for the prestigious national Harry S. Truman scholarship during her junior year. Last year she also was named the National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges Scholar student representative, the Outstanding Junior of the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, and was awarded the WSU President’s Leadership and Engagement Award of Distinction. » More …
